Ethan | Denver Newborn Photographer

At 3 and 1/2 weeks, I walked into this session not knowing how well Ethan would do.  Yes, that sounds weird but everything I've read has said its pretty difficult to do an "old" born.  Ha...I know 3 1/2 weeks does not sound old.  All it meant is that I was able to hold Ethan a lot more.  A win/win in my opinion.  And he did amazing!  May have had to move super slowly or whisper really softly but in the end Ethan owned his session.  Perfect little model.   And his hair....wow, I have never seen a sweet little newborn with so much beautiful hair. What a blessing for me to be part of such sweetness.  Enjoy a few of our pics from that afternoon!

Lachlan | Denver Children's Portrait Photographer

I met Lachlan 6 months ago for his newborn portraits.  Basically stole my heart from the moment I met him.  He is adorable.  And at 6 months has SO much personality.  Smiling at me, laughing at his Mom or being extremely curious about whatever is in front of him.  LOVE him!

Kade | Colorado Springs Newborn Photographer

Beautiful and sweet, so tiny and soft...Kade is so loved by his sweet family.  At 5 days new he was one of my easiest babies to photograph.  Just "had" to walk around with him for a while to get him to sleep...I may have been loving on his cute little fingers and toes.  I was able to do Kelsey and Faisel's maternity session a few months ago and was anticipating their new arrival for a while.  Its always so fun for me to do both...feels as if I knew Kade before he was born.  ;p  Anyway, enjoy a few photos from that morning!

The Barthel Family | Colorado Springs Portrait Photographer

Love...yes, I love what I do.  There simply is something about capturing happiness...

This session took place at sunset in a beautiful field on my clients property.  Cowboys, hay bales, horses and big belt buckles....couldn't have asked for a better family and setting.  One of my favorite things about being a photographer is capturing children.  Especially the shy ones...the smiles that come eventually from that shyness...absolutely priceless.  With Chase and Breanna...for sure had to earn them.  I don't mind the process, I really don't...I get shyness.  I am actually a very shy person.  I know crazy to be a photographer and be shy.  But once they were comfortable...and honestly it might have been jazz their horse that brought out a sense of ease in them.  Watching Chad laugh with them...well, this session was just a good one for me.  For my sense of remembering why I love what I do.  Its easy to get lost in the mad season of photography and forget the passion.  So enjoy a few pics from that night...

Adam | Class of 2013 | Colorado Springs Portrait Photographer

Adam...funny, charming and an amazing golf player.  I met him a couple of years ago when I photographed his high school golf team.  There is such a calm sense of confidence in him...the way he carries himself or the way he talks.  Such a fun time of life...LOVED my senior year.   Good luck Adam!  I know you will succeed in what ever direction you choose!
