This is my 2nd year getting to photograph this sweet family. And I just love them. There choice in clothing always makes me want to jump up and say yes...why, because they are all so unique but color coordinated. Its a photographers dream...okay, maybe thats too far. But seriously, pulling in 3 to 5 colors through out a family session will help create dimension in your photo. And also give it a timeless feel instead of a say, early 90's look. What I also love about this family is that they are so easy to get real reactions out of. Especially Ezra...their son. Loved watching his face as he threw the leaves up in the air. Joyella, a bit shy but so sweet...loved being held by Mom or Dad. Such a beautiful fall family session! Enjoy a few pics from that afternoon!

Shawna and Austin | Sedona Creekside Inn | Arizona Wedding Photographer
Sedona is beautiful. Every time Jen and I photograph a wedding there, I feel like I just stepped into a scene from Lord of the Rings (Rivendale). Beautiful tall trees that outline a creek with wild flowers scattered about. Its just that gorgeous. And in this wedding Jen and I just would look at each other and laugh...its a blessing for sure getting to do what we do. The Creekside Inn set up the ceremony to take place in an open space surrounded by beautiful trees. Purple and pink roses scattered around to form an aisle with pine cones mixed in. And each chair had a bag of roses to throw at the bride and groom as the walked back down the aisle as Mr. and Mrs.
Shawna and Austin....to describe them. Both were so relaxed and completely at ease with each other. They have been together since high school and their emotions that day were so true and heartfelt...it was simple amazing to photograph that sweet love. Thank you kreatid for having me photograph this sweet wedding with you!

Dan, Stacey, Korbin and Keeton | Colorado Springs Family Photographer
This family has some style going on. Yes, loved the pops of red against the beautiful backdrop of fall. I so love photographing this sweet family and watching their little boys change so much every season. One of these days I'm going to get a HUGE smile out of Keeton. I will. The challenge has been thrown. But I love a serious blue steel look any day. ;p Enjoy a few pics from that morning!
