Such sweetness...yes, this adorable, pink, soft and the most beautiful newborn I've ever gotten to photograph...is my niece. I had to wait TWO whole weeks to hold her. To whisper to her how much I will be her favorite...and that its okay to have favorites.
Lila Jane is my little brother Josh and Lindsey's first baby. To say that I was beyond excited for them would be an understatement. We haven't had a newborn on this side of the family in about 4 years...that is way too long. Josh has three older sisters...but I'm the youngest oldest sister if that counts for anything. But watching him take care of Linds, laugh with her...possibly cry with her when its 3 am in the morning was beautiful to me. Ah...but watching him snuggle with Lila Jane, sing sweet songs of nothing to her...melts me. My little bro loving on his baby girl is priceless to me. My sister Jen, owner of kreatid did an absolutely breathtaking blog post about the day she was born...and I felt like I was there. And I loved getting to work with her for Lila Jane's newborn session...a princess, oh so girly themed session. Look out sweet Lila, two photographers in the family will lead to a lot of "themed" sessions. ;p Love you Josh and Lindsey!
