Such a gorgeous and fun family.  Rory has the ability to just laugh and make you feel like you were one long lost friend.  I love the way Jim and Preston were in separable...okay, more like Preston is absolutely in love with Daddy right now...which was beautiful for me to see because it is typically the mom that this happens with.  Oh don't get me wrong he loves Rory but it was sweet to see that special bond all ready with father and son.  Avery,  such a beautiful girl.  Loved to snuggle and be held by Rory...this was such a fun session to be part of.  And Belleview is simply a beautiful place to photograph.  Have yet to find a season that it doesn't photograph well!  

Ethan | Denver Newborn Photographer

At 3 and 1/2 weeks, I walked into this session not knowing how well Ethan would do.  Yes, that sounds weird but everything I've read has said its pretty difficult to do an "old" born.  Ha...I know 3 1/2 weeks does not sound old.  All it meant is that I was able to hold Ethan a lot more.  A win/win in my opinion.  And he did amazing!  May have had to move super slowly or whisper really softly but in the end Ethan owned his session.  Perfect little model.   And his hair....wow, I have never seen a sweet little newborn with so much beautiful hair. What a blessing for me to be part of such sweetness.  Enjoy a few of our pics from that afternoon!

I met Lachlan 6 months ago for his newborn portraits.  Basically stole my heart from the moment I met him.  He is adorable.  And at 6 months has SO much personality.  Smiling at me, laughing at his Mom or being extremely curious about whatever is in front of him.  LOVE him! 

Kellen and Kelsey | Colorado Wedding Photographer

Gorgeous wedding...yes, this was a wedding to remember.  Plum and kiwi colored accents, a Tuscany feel to the venue at the Villa Parker, gorgeous lanterns, strawberry rhubarb pie to go with the ombre purple cake by Cakeheads Bakery in Denver, oh...and the flowers....the flowers were amazing, by Mainstreet Flower Market.  Loved the hydrangea!   

What a beautiful day for Jen and I to photograph.  Jen, my sister, owner and photographer of kreatid but she could be also known as my partner in crime for weddings.  So fun to be able to do this with her!

Watching Kelsey with her bridesmaids...rocking out to 80's and 90's music...girl after my own heart.  Set the mood for a happy celebration.  Kellen and his friends chilling in a room prepping for their crazy dance moves later...yes, this bridal party knew how to dance.  But probably one of my favorite moments of the day was when we took pictures of Kellen and Kelsey before the ceremony.  Not seeing each other but a moment captured with a door between them.  Makes me smile just thinking about it...it set the tone for the rest of the day.  Happiness...so easily found in these two.  Happiness that was so contagious for their friends and family to be part of...so yes, it was a day to be remembered.  Not only because of the all the gorgeous details that were so well thought out...but because of how two people made a day that was wrapped around the feeling of happiness and love.  Simply wishing them both a lifetime of the same.
