Reed, big brown eyes, blonde hair and the biggest smile in the world.  Loved watching how his eyes lit up looking at those blue balloons.  Or that grin when he was chasing his mom in his monster Halloween costume...or the expression of shock when he got a cake...all for himself.  What a beautiful boy.  So full of life and curiosity.  Enjoy a few pics from that morning!

I met Lachlan 6 months ago for his newborn portraits.  Basically stole my heart from the moment I met him.  He is adorable.  And at 6 months has SO much personality.  Smiling at me, laughing at his Mom or being extremely curious about whatever is in front of him.  LOVE him!

Poppy Mae...oh my goodness...this sweet girl is beautiful.  Loves to blow kisses, crawl without letting her knees touch the ground, hates sitting on grass, loves to snuggle with her stuffed bear, has the bluest eyes and the sweetest personality.  Loved her session!

Beautiful Anja turns one.  Such a fun milestone...and particularly one I'm fond of photographing.  I've so enjoyed watching this sweet girl grow since she was just a precious newborn.  Beautiful...yes, she is absolutely beautiful.  Loved watching her squeeze her big sister in a big hug, laugh in her daddy's arms or snuggle with her mom.  This is such a precious family to me.  Enjoy a few pics from that morning! 

The "S" Family | Denver Family Photographer

Oh my goodness...this place was a necessary break for me from the Colorado Springs mountains.  Did I just say that?!  I know you think I'm crazy...love my locations here in the springs.  BUT this place reminded me of the ocean...waves, humid air, crazy wind and sand.  Love love.  Anyway, I so enjoyed this family session.  I met up with Holly, with Holly Strebel Photography for her family photos.  Its always hard being the photographer and capturing you in your own family photos.  ;p  Loved her sweet personality and her gorgeous family.  Sawyer and Charlotte...I am completely smitten with them.  Sawyer....all boy with a need to explore.  And Charlotte...busy trying to catch up with him.  Jeff and Holly loving on their babies and totally at ease with me making them get in the water...I know...I just thought...why not.  ;p  Enjoy a few pics from that late afternoon!

First thing...I love this family.  I really do.  I love watching their happiness.  Martina wanted to have some updated pictures of her babies to send to Killian while he is away in the military.  For about 8 months to a year he is gone...you know what I think when I see this  family.  Its amazing.  Amazing to me this sense of joy I see in such a beautiful family.  And in Killian when he is there as well.  It requires strength and purpose to be able to bring such happiness in hard times like that.  And I love that I get to see that.   Martina, you simply amaze me.  I am so honored to catch a glimpse of what an amazing mother, wife and friend you are to your man.  Simply a thank you does not do justice for all you and your man do for our country...but my family does.
