Colorado Springs Newborn Photographer - Emsley - 11 days new

Sweetness.  Yes, this is how I would describe this sweet little girl.  She loves to be held, tightly swaddled and watch Phineas and Ferb.  I kid you not...before we were getting started the show was on and she was watching, mesmerized with this show.  I think one of my favorite things about her...is her little dimple in her chin or her full head of beautiful hair.  Either way, this sweet little Emsley was a joy to work with.  :)  Enjoy a few pics from that afternoon!   

Colorado Springs Family Photographer - The "L" Family

Okay, this sweet family, they so made me smile.  The sweet girls gave me hugs, laughed, came up with some pretty awesome ideas and totally just enjoyed having their pictures taken.  Well, at least that was the assumption I made.  ;p  Gladys and Jerod, so laid back and were so easy to talk and work with.  We had  to reschedule from the week before because of the CRAZY wind...and the day was so perfect...of course the sun could have shown its sweet side but we worked with it.  Absolutely, enjoyed this gorgeous family.

Denver Family Photographer - Andrew, Deb and Milo

Washington Park...wow, what a BEAUTIFUL place.  And fall was still hanging on...so amazing!  Denver has so many gorgeous parks...thank you Deb and Andrew for sharing it with me.   Can't wait till next summer for my Denver clients.  ;p 

Can I just say that Milo...is quite possibly one of the most handsome boys I've ever photographed.  I think its his personality that adds to his all around charm.  Or the extremely LONG eye lashes...so unfair.  He definitely gets his sweet personality from his parents.   Deb and Andrew, are extremely easy people to be around and I always end up laughing or smiling the whole time.  Love this sweet family!  Enjoy a few of our pics from that afternoon! 

Colorado Springs Family Photographer - The "C" Family

Love this sweet family...yes, I do.  I was able to take Kristin's maternity pictures when she was pregnant with Emerson and Sawyer...and then later their newborn pics.  Each time I'm blown away with how unbelievably kind and BEAUTIFUL each of the family members are. 

Copeland, their oldest daughter, is a total heart breaker...and she doesn't even know it.  To get her to smile, Kristin might have mentioned a certain someone she was crushing on...TOO CUTE!  Ryker, ALL boy...loved how he would completely tackle Josh and laugh while doing it.  Loved him...then you add in Emerson and Sawyer with the biggest smiles you ever did see.   This family simply makes me smile.  Enjoy just a few pics from our sweet session that morning... 

Manitou Springs Wedding Photographer - [Kerri and John]

Kerri and John...love them.  The laughter that came so easily.  Their love, so apparent and beautiful for me to watch.  I've known Kerri for 10 years...she is the one that makes my hair look SO fabulous.  ;p  A stylist at Middleton Salon.  She is one of the warmest, sweetest and most genuine woman I have met.  Love her.  And John, seriously, you are so the perfect match for her.  Loved how you were captivated with Kerri.  How attentive and loving...its the little details that say so much.   And your family and friends...it was so apparent to me through all the teasing, the laughing and hugs shared that you two are seriously loved by many. 

This wedding took place in Manitou Springs.  A beautiful and eclectic town set against the mountains.   The reception, Venue 515, decked out in gorgeous lighting and splashes of red.   But what took my breath away was this gorgeous First Congregational Church they got married in.  Local art on the walls,  high vaulted ceilings with wooden beams, classic pews and gorgeous stained glass windows.  Beautiful and the perfect setting for this sweet couple. 

My sister Jen, owner of kreatid, was able to fly in and shoot this sweet wedding with me.   I can't tell you enough how amazing she is...the talent that she brings to each wedding we do....simply blows me away.  Creatively, its a joy to work with her.  There is a certain energy that happens when we shoot together.  Having another photographer be able to capture different angles for a wedding is simply priceless to me and to the bride and groom.

Colorado Springs Newborn Photographer - Evan - 6 days new

Sweet, so sweet...Evan is beautiful and he was only 6 days old when I took his photos.  Love how relaxed he was...even while awake.  Newborns are just such a sweet phase that I love to capture...and it passes so quickly.  So enjoy just a few pics from that sweet afternoon!



Colorado Springs Family Photographer - Shove Chapel and a sweet sweet family!

Gorgeous soft diffused light...beautiful trees with traces of fall still holding on.  Then the gorgeous outlines, doors of Shove chapel made for such a lovely session. 

This family, chased each other, laughed, through leaves, climbed trees and teased their sweet Mom to no end.  I loved it...loved being a part of capturing some sweet moments for their father as a surprise.  What a great gift!
