Sweet Emsley...so gorgeous, with her big curls and big hazel eyes.  I've been photographing her since she was a tiny thing in her mama's belly.  She is turning one and we wanted a colorful and playful session...her mom brought all this fun tutu's, leggings and tutu pom poms.  It was such a fun session to photograph!

First thing...I love this family.  I really do.  I love watching their happiness.  Martina wanted to have some updated pictures of her babies to send to Killian while he is away in the military.  For about 8 months to a year he is gone...you know what I think when I see this  family.  Its amazing.  Amazing to me this sense of joy I see in such a beautiful family.  And in Killian when he is there as well.  It requires strength and purpose to be able to bring such happiness in hard times like that.  And I love that I get to see that.   Martina, you simply amaze me.  I am so honored to catch a glimpse of what an amazing mother, wife and friend you are to your man.  Simply a thank you does not do justice for all you and your man do for our country...but my family does.

Abbygale...so sweet, shy and full of expressions.   To me her eyes express so much...so much soul at just one.  Love that she would smile for pictures of animals, her mom or praise music being played on her mom's iphone.  Hey, whatever it takes right?  ;p  

Abby is so loved...by her older sisters, her Dad who calls her gingerflake...I kid you not.   This family has been with me for a couple of years.  And I've gotten to know them and their beautiful way that they interact as a family.  Laughter is a main source of activity for them.  

 I was able to do Abbygale's newborn photos last year and I could not have been more pleased to also capture her at one.  Enjoy a few pictures from that morning!

Sweet girls, beautiful brown eyes and they sell me girl scout cookies.  Whats not to love?  ;p  But seriously, I enjoy these two...I love that I get to photograph them every year.  And it doesn't hurt that I end up getting to chat with their mom for awhile afterwards.  Yes, I just really love this family.  Enjoy a few of our pics from that afternoon!

Blue eyes, a sweet smile and soft blond hair...this sweet girl is stunning.  Not only that, she is kind and LOVES to have me sing.  Yes, you heard that right...and no I don't have a chance at American Idol.  ;p  I may have started to sing if your Happy and you know it...and then she wanted that to be the "theme" song for the rest of her session.  She would say, "More Happy"  So funny, and makes me laugh thinking of Shawn, Breanne and myself all singing the song for her.

Sweet Lily...I so enjoyed working with this sweet girl and her sweet family.   Even though her smiles were the biggest when I put my camera down...the fact that she wanted to laugh at me and look right at me made me happy.  Loved her gorgeous tutu's and headbands that her Mom made.  She has a website called Merci Bowcoup Super talented woman! 

And I may have finally had the chance to photograph a ballerina...okay, so really they were her mom's shoes with a sweet 6 month old girl in a tutu...but close enough right?!  ;p  Enjoy a few sweet pics from that morning!

Creative and curious...and a head full of gorgeous brown curls.  Not to mention her baby blue eyes...Adelaide is simply stunning.  But then so are her parents. :)  Adelaide is one of my kiddo's playmates.  And her Mom just so happens to be a yoga instructor and I may at times learn a thing or two from this sweet woman.  :) 

On this day that I photographed Adelaide it was her third birthday!  Such a fun age...its amazing how much they change in that year.  And I'm so excited to be part of her life even if its in a small way.  Enjoy a few pics that we took that morning!  :)

Hannah, or Hannah banana...LOVE her.  Love her big blue eyes...the sweet intelligence that is so evident in how she communicates.  Yes, I speak baby.  ;p  But seriously, I loved this session.  Hannah is such a happy laid back girl.  And so curious...she can move around SO fast.  Leslie and I had to keep her occupied at all times before she would try and escape.  

  One of my favorite things about capturing newborns is that I usually get to watch them grow.  Yes, sweet Hannah, I've been photographing her since she was just a week old!  Such a privilege to be part of her life.  Enjoy a few of our pics from that morning!

Sweet Eliza.  She is one loved girl.  Yes, one of the highlights to her session was Camille (her mom) and Eliza dancing to some country song that was playing...and I might have joined in the madness.  ;p  We were trying to get a big smile out of her.  And we did.  :)  But Eliza's favorite thing was to play games with her Mom.  So adorable and fun to watch gorgeous Camille play with her baby girl.  I love this family...I do.  I've been photographing them before sweet Eliza was born and its so fun for me to watch Eliza change and become even MORE beautiful than when she was as a newborn.  Hard to do.   Bittersweet, yes, this was a bittersweet session...found out this family will be moving in the near future.  Um, I travel to Germany.  ;p  Hint hint.
